The restaurant franchise based on Indian street food concepts is opening new stores in Hoboken and Newark, along with three other unspecified locations on the horizon as well.

The new Hoboken store will open its doors at 91 Washington St., Tuesday, Feb. 25. The first 100 people in line will receive a free burrito or bowl, and the shop is also offering 50 percent off the full menu all day.

The Newark shop will be coming to 58 Halsey St., this spring.

The eatery was started as a California food truck in 2009 and has since evolved into a one-of-a-kind culinary experience with locations in California, Georgia and Utah.

The menu boasts Indian dishes repackaged into modernized street food staples, like tikka masala burritos, deconstructed samosas, makini bowls and more.

The eatery also plans to open four more North and Central Jersey shops in the future; the first of which is located on Halsey Street in Newark. It’s set to open in the spring.

A Curry Up Now spokeswoman told NJ Advance Media they're exploring three other North and Central Jersey locations.
